The Day of Pentecost after Christ’s resurrection and ascension was one of the most important days in the world’s history. One bible professor called it “the hub of the bible”. The promises accompanying the Kingdom of Heaven’s invasion of earth were fulfilled and the apostles were able to connect the prophecies of the Old Testament with their fulfillment in Christ. The evidence presented to the thousands of Jews in Jerusalem that day led to many finally being convicted of their sins and turning to Christ for salvation. Peter and others began, that day, fulfilling the Great Commission given by Christ just days earlier. Some claim that what we need today is another Pentecost. Is that true or do we need to enjoy the blessings of the Pentecost we’ve already had? In this broadcast of Let the Bible Speak, we continue our series through the conversion accounts in Acts: Jesus Saves.
