Paul, the apostle, described the Old Testament Sabbath as a shadow of something that was to come in Christ Jesus. What did he mean? Why is Sunday now a significant day to the New Testament church? Is the Lord’s Day the New Covenant anti-type of the Old Covenant Sabbath? Or did the Jewish Sabbath typify something else?
