The Passover feast that God ordained for the Jewish nation was perpetual, according to a pattern, and provided a picture of their redemption from Egypt. It was also prophetic. The Lord Jesus said to His disciples as the observed the Passover that it would be “fulfilled” in the Kingdom. The symbolism of the Passover would be made plain in the events that would unfold beginning the next day and then replaced by a memorial for the church to observe until Jesus comes again. In this last lesson of the series “The Passover & The Lord’s Supper” we look closely at the importance of the symbolism of the communion as it is scripturally observed today.
