Who we are
Kevin Presley was born in July, 1973 in Wichita, KS to Christian parents and was raised in a devout home, obeying the gospel as a youth.
In 1991, he moved to Ada, OK where he received his earliest training in the work of an evangelist and was became an evangelist in 1994. He studied under and travelled with evangelists such as Joe Hisle, Lynwood Smith, Ronny Wade, and Gerald Hill. These and other men were strong influences in Bro. Presley’s formative years and continued to encourage him as he began the work of an evangelist.
In 1996, he moved to southeast Alabama to begin working with the Earlytown Church of Christ. In February 1997, with the backing and encouragement of the Earlytown church, Let the Bible Speak was begun on WDHN-TV in Dothan and later moved to WTVY-TV. The program later grew and has continued airing on stations across the United States for more than 27 years.
Kevin also spent a decade working in local television news as an anchor, reporter, and producer, also serving for several years as an Assistant News Director.
In 1998, Kevin was instrumental in establishing a new congregation in the city of Dothan where he preached and worked for nearly 25 years. From 2008-2010, he lived and preached in Brookhaven, MS until returning to Alabama. In 2024, he and his family relocated to LaGrange, GA to work with the Four Oaks Church of Christ.
Kevin has held hundreds of gospel meetings across the United States, including Alaska. He has also conducted meetings and done mission work in Jamaica and the Philippines.
He served from 1994-2023 as a contributing editor for the monthly journal, Old Path’s Advocate and has written for other periodicals.
Kevin also studied music theory in college and at the Ben Speer School of Gospel Music and Alabama School of Gospel Music, and owns Legacy Music Publishing, providing shaped-note hymnals to churches of Christ and others.
In his spare time, he enjoys photography, music, and bass fishing.
Kevin and his wife, Bethany, married in 1999 and have two daughters.
